Method How to Make Dal Tadka:
Clean the dals, rinse them off and drain them before soaking them in fresh water for about 30-40 minutes. Drain again once they’ve soaked enough and place it into a pressure cooker with green chilies, garlic, ginger, salt, turmeric powder and some water.
